Making it harder for the pedophiles... one step at a time

A while back, I brought you some information straight from GirlChat, about how they were buying their pro pedophilia items from a store online , which was selling jewelry. I've mentioned before that pedophile's have symbols which they use to promote their deviant sexual attractions towards children. You can view more on that, including the symbols and explanations of them here . But there is one particular symbol that is of importance to this post, it's a heart within a heart. It is used by "girl lovers" or, as they are really known- pedophiles who prefer to use female victims in their heinous crimes. The very reason I bring this up, while mentioning the jewelry is that it seems that there is a line of jewelry that is catering to those who like to molest/rape/abuse children. Not One More Child

Reader Lisa sent over information on the group " Not One More Child Coalition ", and I thought it was worth sharing with you. For more information, please see their website. The Surviving Parents Coalition (SPC) and National Association to Protect Children (PROTECT) launched their "Not One More Child" campaign in Washington, D.C. today, Feb. 7, 2008, with a formal event at the National Press Club. The event was attended by legislators, law enforcement, and other coalition members. The "Not One More Child" campaign website, www.notonemorechild.org was introduced, along with a public service announcement focusing on the exploding crisis of child exploitation. The groups also released law enforcement maps with data showing hundreds of thousands of criminals who are currently trafficking in child pornography. "'Not One More Child' is literally about rescuing children," said Ed Smart, parent of Elizabeth, president of the Surviving Parents Coa...

Feeling the Heat...

I'd like to introduce you all to John Contini , a criminal lawyer from Florida who began his career in 1983 as a prosecutor and became a criminal attorney in 1987, whose career has given him material for not one, but two true crime books gathered from his own life experiences. Contini is well known for his legal defense of Gilbert Fernandez, Jr ., the former Florida police officer once called "Miami's Meanest Cop". The following is an exert from one of Contini's websites on his book " Feeling the Heat: An Interrogation of the Soul " which follows the journey made possible by a turn of events no one could have seen coming. How would you feel if you knew in your spirit that your good friend was wired, targeting you with the feds for indictment? Betrayed? Sure, but what do you do when there's no time for hurt and anger, when you're scared to death and surrounded by undercover "patrons" pretending to blend in at the neighborhood coffee sho...

A completely non crime thing...

One day out of the year that I LOVE shopping is Black Friday. It used to be that I'd panic while basting the Turkey that 'omg, the newspaper might lack one of the ads'. I'm talking extreme panic. To the point that I had to have multiple copies of the paper, in order to ensure that every ad was there. Then, after cooking, eating and cleaning all day- I'd spend hours going over every single sale item from every single store. I'd hop online to compare 'regular' prices with the advertised sale price. My eyes would drift between the computer, the ads sprawled across the floor and the clock- cause everyone knows that you have to be at the store a good 1/2 before it opens at 5 am. That was way back, before the best discovery ever. bfads.net . Between now and Black Friday every ad from every major store (and not so major stores too) will be scanned and posted for your viewing pleasure. Oh... and don't forget to download and SAVE the ads to your computer. So...

Site of the Week

I'm going to be trying something new around here, mainly because every so often I find a site of interest that I have no reason to link to- other than the fact that I find it to be a great site, and something that might be helpful to someone out there. I'm starting with A Safe Place , which is a organizational site promoting a domestic violence program. According to their site: A Safe Place provides shelter, court advocacy, referrals and comprehensive counseling programs for victims of domestic violence - women and children who have been physically, verbally, or emotionally abused. The site provides both information and resources to those who might be in need of assistance, with a hotline, counseling, intervention and shelter available. It's located in Chicago. For those who might be interesting in providing assistance to the program, you may offer monetary donations online , or there is a list of items that the shelter is often in need of.
