The employees still in the plant are being told by police and rescue workers to stay put via text message and phone calls. It is presently unclear if the shooter was injured, his current whereabouts, but he is believed to be a disgruntled worker who possibly had worked at the plant for 25 years. Four year olds in Ohio aren't as sweet and forgiving as they used to be... especially if you are their 18 year old babysitter, and you step on their foot, and they know the gun is kept in the closet. Police say an angry 4-year-old Ohio boy grabbed a gun from a closet and shot his baby sitter. One might think that after spending four years in jail for raping a 15 year old girl, William Meacham might have tried to be low key and stay out of trouble. Instead Meacham, his two brothers, two sisters and a friend decided that the best way to deal with neighbors concerned about this sexual predator being in their neighborhood was to beat one of them up. Police say William Meacham, his two brothers, two sisters and a friend attacked Adrian Porter in the village of Seneca Falls last month, leaving him bleeding and unconscious in the complex's parking lot with brain trauma, a broken nose and facial fractures. They claim the victim came at them first, because that's believable- a single man going after a gang of six. And, evidently between the fliers Porter was hanging to warn residents of the sexual predator, the clan claims he had a machete. Louie Herrera was attempting to sexually assault a 45 year old woman, when the woman's screaming alerted her 71 year old mother. Linda Dodson, 45, said a large man entered her room and attacked her at 3:37 a.m. Monday while her mother was sleeping in the next room, KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported Thursday. "He had his big hands ... on my throat, my mouth and my nose and I'm flopping ... when he released his hand for a second, I just let out this blood-scorching scream," Dodson said. The mother rushed into assist her daughter, jumping on the man's back only to be thrown into a wall. That's when she decided to tempt Herrera into stopping the attack. "I just looked at him because I could tell he had been drinking and I said, 'I don't know about you, but I could use a beer, how about you?'" she said. "And he said yes." I've talked about Jared Harris before , but for those of you who have forgotten- he's the young man who artfully covered the forehead of Anthony Stockelman (child molester and killer of Katie Collman) in a simple, yet insightful tattoo that read "Katie's Revenge". Jared was Katie's older cousin, and had been doing time in Wabash Correctional Facility for petty charges. After the news of the tattoo was out in the media, Jared was charged for it. His court date has been postponed and postponed almost endlessly since 2006. Now, the latest news is that the charges against him have been dropped : An inmate at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility will not go to trial for tattooing another inmate's forehead. Over the weekend, a female student at Wunsche High School in Houston was sexually assaulted by a school mate. The father of the victim arrived at the school today with his wife to inform school administrators of the assault. That's when police say that the father noticed a male student who had evidently witnessed the weekend sexual assault... and stabbed the male . After the parents saw a male student who was allegedly present during the assault, the father stabbed the boy three times, a school spokesperson said. The stabbing victim was taken to a hospital in The Woodlands, where he was listed in good condition. The father was arrested by Spring ISD police. The girl's parents had reported the sexual assault to Harris County Constable Precinct 4 over the weekend, according to the school spokesperson.

Just a warning, in case of emergency- I don't recommend anyone rushing to the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital emergency room, that is unless they are willing to be assaulted under the pretense of an exam, and then tossed in jail for a few days for attempting to defend themselves from the intrusive practices. I'm sort of use to having to share stories of bad Santa's with you- every year there seems to be a long line of sexual offenders hoping to get their jollies by portraying the much loved old man of Christmas. So it might come as a bit of a surprise when I tell you that this recent addition to the naughty list isn't the Santa... it's the woman who police claim sexually assaulted Santa. Santa Claus says that a woman who sat on his lap was naughty, not nice. A Santa at the Danbury Fair mall said the woman groped him. "The security officer at the mall said Santa Claus has been sexually assaulted," police Detective Lt. Thomas Michael said of the weekend complaint. Sandrama Lamy, 33, of Danbury, was charged with sexual assault and breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court on January 3. Something tells me that she isn't even going to get coal this year.

I'm going to do something a little odd here... I'm going to jump out on a limb and suggest that if a student suddenly comes out of the blue and starts asking a teacher what the penalty for MURDER is... the teacher might want to consider hiding any dangerous objects and maybe, just maybe- trying to find some help for the deranged student. Sadly, it seems that a California shop teacher may have failed to do either, because after inquiring about the penalties were for murder, he later decided to walk into a woodshop class and injured another student who he was having problems with. A Fontana High School student grabbed a hammer in woodshop and clubbed another teen, sending him to the hospital in serious condition with a head wound. The attack apparently involved a dispute over a girl. Police Sergeant Jeff Decker says a 17-year-old boy sneaked into the shop class Tuesday and hit the victim, also 17, once with a hammer. Don't know where this one is going yet, but it seems that a woman has claimed that 6 state trooper who were off duty sexually assaulted her at a home in New Jersey. Not a lot of info on it ... anyone catch more details to the case?

There has been an Amber Alert set for a 14 year old NC boy. Police say the boy was able to contact someone via his cell phone after two while men assaulted him at a community center and then abducted him. Derrick Taylor. is a 14-year-old American Indian male, 5' 5", 124 pounds. He has sandy hair, and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a green hat, green shoes, green shirt and blue jeans. The suspects are two white males who beat him up and threw him in the back of a gold-colored vehicle. FoxNews (TV, sorry no link) just reported that he indicated that although he was unaware of the location where he was, he believed he was in a shed or storage building. NBC 17 is reporting that the Amber Alert has been canceled, although no information is coming out from police as to his whereabouts, or condition.

His client, a former priest who viciously attacked a woman in his church office was sentenced to 4 to 12 years in state prison in connection with the attack . Prosecutors dropped other charges, including attempted murder, sexual assault and kidnapping, that could have resulted in a sentence of life in prison with parole. The duration of his sentence hinges on whether he is approved for parole. In court Thursday, Chaanine denied he sexually assaulted the woman and offered an apology and a rambling statement about his feelings for her before he was led from the courtroom in handcuffs, court information officer Michael Sommermeyer said. "He loved her," Chaanine's court-appointed lawyer, Jeff Banks, said later. "His emotions got the better of him. A rapist who attacked and raped a mother of two was caught after DNA taken after the crime, was recently linked to him. A masked rapist was tracked down after 14 years when a relative gave a DNA sample in a completely unrelated case. Detectives reopened the investigation into the violent assault in Bridgwater, in Somerset, in 1993 when test results revealed a family connection to the attacker. More than 4,000 people related to the arrested man were traced and tested before detectives caught up with 42-year-old Geoffrey Godfrey. Godfrey, now 42, raped the 36-year-old married mother of two after he attacked her as she walked along a canal towpath. Although the rapist’s DNA was recovered from semen samples, Godfrey was not on any data-base. Full story

What won't be on his record if his plea deal with Fort Wayne prosecutors goes through are the acts that actually put him into the position of resisting arrest to begin with: Prosecutors dropped two counts of criminal deviate conduct, a count of attempted rape, a felony count of battery, a count of criminal confinement and a count of being a repeat sexual offender. I seen this story the other day, and all I could think was that some people really are poster children for mandatory sterilization. When 19 year old Shane Edward Lee Pedal heard about the 17 year old sex offender, his gut reaction might have been one many of us share- disgust. But, what Pedal and the 16 year old girl who informed him of the sex offender status did crosses all lines of acceptable behavior. The 17-year-old victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also had a cigarette stubbed out on him and was force-fed cigarette ends and ash, Leeds Crown Court heard. The teenager was labelled "a dirty paedophile" by attacker Shane Edward Lee Pedal, 19, of Cave Crescent, Lupset, who then squirted him with a fire extinguisher. A 16-year-old girl, who knew about the victim's sexual shame and told Pedal of it, also joined in the prolonged and violent attack. She beat him with a hand-brush and kicked him as did Pedal.
