Taking photos of you children is not a crime. In fact, taking photos of someone else's children isn't really a crime either. Although I fully support the idea behind sex offender registries, I also know that none will ever provide 100% protection. They are a good start, but will never be able to be a complete answer to the problem of keeping predators at bay. Take for instance, Jerry Buck Inman, the convicted sex offender who has confessed to murdering Tiffany Souers. He was registered in both North Carolina and Florida, and yet that did little to protect his victim from him. In fact, for both states he had listed different "last addresses". And, being listed in a sex offender database did little to keep him from leaving the state. We have no way of currently knowing how many sex offenders are leaving their home states, how many are failing to abide by registration laws. I know that within my county there are a little over 200 registered offenders... and to be honest, I have to be willing to accept that not all those convicted of sexual crimes make it to that list. There are things in life that are difficult to do for the younger generation, and often are just as difficult for adults to do. One of those things is coming forward after a sexual assault. Update Below- Maria Del Rocio Media was just 29, she was married to Fidel Carrasco, 40; and the two had a young daughter together who's one. On Sunday, a national Amber Alert was issued for the couple's 16-month-old daughter, Guadalupe Medina, and police launched a search for a green Pontiac Grand Am with Illinois license plate 681 4694. Carrasco is also known by the name of Daniel Medina, and both he and the child have been missing since MAria Del Rocio Media was found stabbed to death in the families apartment. Deputy Supt.
