I have been told that I see things very black and white. My parents should be proud because growing up I tried to make everything a grey issue. I've learned to a bot more constant on my views, a bit less "sittin on the fence" of issues and more "standing firmly on one side of the fence without any willingness to budge".
So let me say this clearly- if you stand by and allow someone to mistreat a child... you are as guilty of it as the one ding th mistreatment. Perhaps even more so because you have a strong responsiblity to protect that child at all costs. Having said that here's the update to the two low life, should never have a child within walking distance of them let alone have children in there care scum bags who kept 9 children caged.
I am disappointed in the "no charges have been filed" I am disappointed in a system that would allow the children to be living this way while the very people who should be caring for them abuse them while getting paid over $4000 a month to evidently do so.

"NORWALK — The adoptive mother of children who were confined in cages to sleep accused her husband four years ago of being a danger to the family.
In court papers requesting a separation in March 2001, Sharen Gravelle said she wanted custody of their then eight young children because of “father’s physical mistreatment of the children.”
The couple, who now have 11 adopted special needs children, eventually resolved their differences. Authorities, however, now are making similar allegations.
Huron County Prosecutor Russell Leffler said he filed 11 complaints of child abuse and neglect earlier this week to authorize the placement of the children in foster care. They are not criminal charges.
A hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 27, and a judge will decide if the children should be permanently removed from the home or returned.
Michael and Sharen Gravelle say they have done nothing wrong and that the wooden “enclosures” were meant to protect youngsters who set fires and injured each other. No charges have been filed.
The children, ages 1-14, have conditions that include autism, fetal alcohol syndrome and HIV. A 3-year-old has a disease called pica, described as an eating disorder in which children compulsively eat nonfood items such as dirt or rocks.
The 2001 domestic court filing at Huron County Common Pleas Court does not detail the abuse Sharen Gravelle alleged. The documents show she revealed the alleged mistreatment to a counselor.
In one document, she said Michael Gravelle left her while the couple was remodeling their home in Wakeman, about 50 miles west of Cleveland. Sharen Gravelle said only two burners on the family’s stove were working at the time, “leaving his wife and eight children to fend for themselves.”
Sharen Gravelle claimed the couple were no longer compatible and that her husband was guilty of “extreme cruelty and gross neglect of duty.” Michael Gravelle agreed that they were incompatible and should end their marriage but denied that he was cruel or neglectful. He said then that his wife received $4,265 a month in government adoption subsidies and disability payments for the children.
Michael Gravelle acknowledged that the couple had had problems for many years but said they had done their best to provide the children with a good home. “I dearly love them,” he said in a filing dated April 18, 2001.
“I have done nothing wrong to the children in the house,” he said.
The couple had reconciled by May and eventually adopted three more children. It’s unknown if the agencies that placed those children reviewed the abuse allegations.
According to Huron County juvenile court records reviewed by The Associated Press, an adult daughter of the Gravelles, Lisa Gravelle, has asked the court to award her custody of her adopted siblings.
The county Department of Job and Family Services will make a recommendation to juvenile court Judge Timothy Cardwell about whether she is suitable, said Christopher Mushett, the court’s administrator.
No other information about Lisa Gravelle was in the documents, and there was no telephone listing for that name in Ohio. "
