Jennifer Kesse

Years ago I used to drive down John Young Parkway in Orlando to get to work. I've not given the area much thought over the years since I've come back home to Ohio, so tonight when I glanced up and seen the map of it on the screen, it took me back for a second or two. When I glanced over and saw the story that went along with the map, I decided to make time tonight for one more post.

Jennifer Kesse is a 24 year old Florida woman, she went missing four days ago. The 5-feet, 8-inch, 135-pound blonde with green eyes didn't show up for work in Ocoee on Tuesday, and her car was later found abandoned a mile from her home. Her family has launched a search, and are seeking leads to help bring her safe return home.

An anonymous donor has offered an $100,000 reward for tips leading to her return, and volunteers have begun searching the areas where she lived and about a mile away, where her car was found.

Orlando police have three detectives working on the case through the weekend, and others will be called in if needed. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Jennifer are being asked to call the Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477.

Drew Kesse, her father had the following message for her during a news conference, "Jennifer, I am going to find you," he said. "You stay (safe), be smart. I will find you.''

I'm collecting a few web addresses for the parents to see how the web and blogs are responding to their case. Thank you for posting it. Added you to the list for the parents.

I'm flying to Orlando today to help coordinate a search for Jennifer Kesse. I'm Chris McElroy from the Kidsearch Network. We work in conjunction with Childwatch of North America. Don Wood of Childwatch is already there helping the parents.

As I have time I will be updating my blog at http://www.missingchildrenblog.com as the search continues. I hope the case is resolved before I even get there, but it doesn't look good so far.

Re: recent person-of-interest photos. looks like a girl. practically see the individual walking...long strides, curve of shoulder, spine. looks big hipped. hair pinned back into a kind of bun. i'm sure the height can be determined from the surveillance photo.

He loves me, he loves me not, oh what the heck he loves me...

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. And Lindsay, he is demented. And he should be locked up forever. And, well it seems that he is a fan of mine. Yep, that sick lil monkey can't help himself. He reads this here blog (which is a hint that you should share your thoughts...

Linsi E. Light

When it came on the news last night, there was very little information. Even today, although there is more coming out- there still is a rather chilling "quietness" in the details of the case. You must understand, my home town is rather small. Murders front page news. So when the second murder of the year was shuffled into the mid section of the paper this morning, without so much as a name for the victim, it seemed- well it seemed odd. It wasn't until this evening that one (out of two) local TV news stations picked it up enough for it to hit their website. What I have been able to compile so far, is that at some time last night, Lima Police received a call about a gun being shot. They arrived at 1212 Bellefontaine Ave, on the east side of Lima to find a 19 year old OSU student dead. The young woman would be identified as Linsi E. Light, a first year OSU Lima student from Montpelier Ohio , a small Ohio town with just over 4,000 residents. She apparently had been shot in th...
