Cali Eyeing Jessica's Law

November seems a little far off even now, but when it arrives it'll be bringing big changes to California, or not.
Democrats aren't sure how to deal with a November ballot initiative known as Jessica's Law, which would toughen California's state penalties against convicted sex offenders.

I'm not sure I can be very helpful to them. I mean, my biggest defense of Jessica's Law is... well Jessica's Story.
If the initiative passes, it would impose a mandatory 15-years-to-life sentence on anyone who rapes a child under 14 and is at least seven years older than the victim. The initiative would make it tougher for convicted rapists to use "good-time credits" to get out of jail early, require the use of GPS tracking systems for paroled offenders and prohibit them from living within 2,000 feet of a school or park. It would toughen penalties for those who lure children over the Internet.

I hope that those out there that are scratching their heads wondering how to deal with this, take a moment to imagine their child in the hands of a sexual predator. Perhaps that image will help move them to protect our children.

Jessica's Law definitely needs to be passed in CA. CA has the largest amount of sex offenders/predators in the country. If ones write their Senators NOW, on HR4472...Jessie's law is part of the Child Safety Act...then it would be national. Right now Sen. Ted Kennedy is trying to kill it again...by wanting to attach a hate crime bill (that should be a separate bill) however he successfully killed it last time it hit the Senate floor. This is crucial now....for this vote and people to write...the info is on my site.

WTW Someone Please Help Us

There's so much to work with, I'm going to just hit as much as I can. Ashely Simpson decided to pick a fight at McDonald's. Boyfriends...

I sometimes wonder if certain men have some sort of animal DNA breed into them. The type of DNA or whatever it is that makes animals ritually preform certain actions. Like lions, when a male lion takes over a pride it'll often kill the offspring of the previous male, before mating with the female lions and creating cubs of it's own. I only wonder this, because it seems like there are an overwhelming number of men out there that end up killing the children of their girlfriends, not all of them do- but on a case by case comparison between girlfriends killing their boyfriends offspring and boyfriends doing it, it just seems that it's a lot more common amoung men. NOT THAT ALL OF THEM DO THIS... there are some great boyfriends/stepfathers out there that actually take care of kids as if they are their own... but then we have cases like Christopher Thunborg and Kashon Scott.
