When 19 year old Shane Edward Lee Pedal heard about the 17 year old sex offender, his gut reaction might have been one many of us share- disgust. But, what Pedal and the 16 year old girl who informed him of the sex offender status did crosses all lines of acceptable behavior.
At one point in the attack, witnesses heard the suggestion that the beating be videoed, and a response of laughter. Police did not present any evidence of a recording however.
The charges the victim was convicted for have not been reported, and he was due to be sentenced after the attack occurred.
