Pennsylvania has made new changes to it's laws concerning who is required to report suspected child sexual abuse:
Personally, I'm not sure why they waited so long. And, I wish that they had included more people in the new law. I believe that every person who has reason to suspect sexual abuse, or physical abuse of a child should be required by law to report it. I don't care if you are a teacher- or a relative, if you have a strong reason to think that someone is hurting a child it is your moral obligation to step up and do something about it. But, of course that's just because I tend to believe that if you fail to stop it... you're just as bad as the one doing it. To many children are lost because someone decided it was more comfortable for them to look the other way than to do the right thing.

Beginning May 28, psychologists, teachers and school counselors will be required to report any suspicions of sexual abuse against children to police or to a children and youth agency.
In the past, only professionals were required to report abuse if the alleged victim was a client.
