Chandler Rapist

I've previously covered the serial rapist of Chandler Az, you can view those posts here: 1 2

The good news of the case is that the suspect has been captured. Love when that happens!

They sifted through more than 2,000 leads, meticulously checked out hundreds of contract or construction workers who matched the rapist's description, and spent countless nights and early mornings on surveillance.

For all the painstaking efforts members of a special task force put into the "Chandler Rapist" case, the big break turned on a tip and a bit of luck.

The bad news is that *someone* suspects his arrest will cause problems. I know, I know... you're wondering how on earth the arrest of some vile deviant could possibly cause problems.

Well, first- some "news" station was offended that the suspect was long called a "Hispanic". Regardless of the fact that the man was indeed a hispanic.

And now it turns out that the monster happened to be an illegal... which some fear will cause even more anger.

Experts agree that as details of the reported series of attacks on young girls emerge, they will harden the public's attitude toward illegal immigrants - especially because assaults against children are among the worst types of crimes, they say.

"A single incident like this pushes the debate about smart, thoughtful immigration policies to the side," said Demetrios Papademetriou, president of the Migration Policy Institute, a Washington-based think tank. "There will be no room, there will be no oxygen for rational conversation about immigration as long as the headlines dominate about this horrible incident. People don't forget these kinds of incidents. They may move on, but they don't forget."

Well, I'll be honest- Santana Batiz Aceves's legal status isn't going to sway me from believing that he ought to be locked up for the rest of his *hopefully short* life. And, it's not going to effect the fact that I'm delighted this threat is off the streets... but it does make me question just why he was on the these streets to begin with- we'd already deported him twice prior to this.

He loves me, he loves me not, oh what the heck he loves me...

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. And Lindsay, he is demented. And he should be locked up forever. And, well it seems that he is a fan of mine. Yep, that sick lil monkey can't help himself. He reads this here blog (which is a hint that you should share your thoughts...

Mom Arrested After Baby Found Mauled By Dogs

This is a story that I really don't want to share, it angers me all the while breaking my heart at how someone could be so cold and callous. My only comment is that there is always a better way. Some may of thought of going to the hospital, others may have thought about calling someone- anyone for help. But the complete disregard this person showed is horrifing. PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Investigators said the badly-mauled body of a newborn infant was found Tuesday afternoon on the banks of the Ohio River. The next day, the baby's 21-year-old mother was arrested after admitting to a hidden pregnancy. The mother told investigators that the baby was still-born at home. She said she panicked and disposed of the baby boy a few miles from her home, NBC 4's Erin Tate reported. The investigation began after authorities received a 911 call from a frantic mother. Dispatcher: "911, what's your emergency?" Caller: "My kids were just outside, telling me that the dog was ch...
