Timothy Christian Schlafer

Eighteen year old Timothy Christian Schlafer has landed himself in a bit of trouble after attempting to kidnap an 11 year old girl from her bed as she slept in her home in Florida.

According to police, Schlafer broke into a home in the 8700 block of Northwest 40th Street early Wednesday morning. Police said Schlafer was carrying the girl down the stairs toward the front door when the victim's grandmother woke up and yelled at him to put her down.

Perhaps he should consider changing his MySpace status from mischievous to 'locked up'.

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. When it came on the news last night, there was very little information. Even today, although there is more coming out- there still is a rather chilling "quietness" in the details of the case. You must understand, my home town is rather small. Murders front page news. So when the second murder of the year was shuffled into the mid section of the paper this morning, without so much as a name for the victim, it seemed- well it seemed odd. It wasn't until this evening that one (out of two) local TV news stations picked it up enough for it to hit their website.
