Police: Man May Have Molested Thousands -

Police are looking into a man whom they say may have molested more than 36000 children. Full Story HERE You have to wonder what kind of sick pervert would ever get gratification by molesting a child. And then it hits you... One deserving to be slowly killed over and over and over again. My idea would include reviving him again each time and starting a painful death procedure over again. And repeating the process. First- a few good clips with a blunt object to some body parts. Because, if you are unable to keep it away from an innocent child.. You really shouldn't be in possession of it to begin with. At 63, and with 36000 children who may be victims, it equals more than one child a day from the time he was born. Plus on around 14000 days, he molested two children each of those days. I don't think the term sick bastard is quite fitting enough for this man. I do not think there is an actual legal punishment that would do him justice.

INVESTIGATORS FEAR ADDITIONAL VICTIMS

A San Jose resident is in jail in lieu of $2 million bail after the parents of a 12-year-old boy came to police with evidence that the man had sexually molested the child.

San Jose police said Dean Arthur Schwartzmiller, 63, was arrested in Washington on a Santa Clara County warrant and is awaiting extradition.

Schwartzmiller has had access to many minors over the years that he lived in several states, including New York, Idaho and Oregon, and where he has gone by various aliases, according to police.

He is also wanted in Oregon on felony sexual assault charges involving a minor.

The San Jose boy's parents went to police Sunday afternoon with undisclosed evidence. They told investigators that the suspect plied their son with gifts and invited him to his house to watch movies and play video games. The alleged assault occurred in the man's Vineyard Street home, police said.

After the District Attorney's Office reviewed the evidence, a $2 million felony arrest warrant was issued for Schwartzmiller's arrest.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Detectives David Gonzales and Robert Dillon from the Child Exploitation Detail/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force at (40 277-4102. Persons wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at (40 947-STOP.

At some point we as parents have to learn that NO ONE will protect our kids, that it is up to us. I don't care how great a person seems while they are around you... It doesn't mean they are safe alone with your child. There is no reason that a man this age has been allowed by parents to entertain children. We as parents need to realize that it is time to stand up and protect out children from the sick people who would do them harm. A good sign of suspicion should be smacking you in the face when a grown man takes such an interest in your child that he's inviting them over for play time. Wake up. No sane adult invites strange kids into their homes and befriends them for no reason unless something terribly wrong is going on behind that closed door. The world is full of sick people, its better to offend the good than trust the bad.

I often tell my kids that if a stranger talks to them, they are to yell out "PERVERT" as loudly as they can. In my thinking I imagined that after all the practice we had on it, that if ever someone approached them while they were out of my reach, they would yell. It may offend the innocent, but its safer that way. Well, on one occasion last year a kind looking elderly lady walked up to my daughter and told her how pretty she was. Even though I was two feet from her, my daughter loudly proclaimed our agreed warning. For a brief second the woman looked startled. I attempted to explain to her that I had been teaching the kids safety against strangers. She interrupted my explanation, to assure me she was not offended- and that in this day and age teaching a child to react to a stranger was more important that sparing the feelings of one. Then, she smiled and after a few more kind words went on her way.

Verifiable or provable by means of observation or experiment: empirical laws. Guided by practical experience and not theory, especially in medicine Kennedy hate crimes rider may doom Hatch's sex offender bill By Robert Gehrke The Salt Lake Tribune WASHINGTON - A fight over federal hate crimes legislation could torpedo Sen. Orrin Hatch's push to strengthen the nation's sex-offender registries and clamp down on sex crimes. The Senate Judiciary Committee gave quick, unanimous approval to Hatch's bill Thursday, clearing its way for consideration by the full Senate. But Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., said he plans to try to attach language to a bill that would require tougher sentences, provide federal assistance and offer grants to prosecute hate crimes - those motivated by hatred for a race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. Florida Sex Offender Registry

Reading the news today, I was taken back to see that the Florida Sex Offender registry was being criticized. Having had the chance to look at it previously, I had always found it rather informative, and well organized. The issue that many are having with it now wouldn't be noticed by the occasional browser on the site. Which makes it even worse. A review of the FSR has found some rather unsettling statistics: The News-Press analyzed the Florida Department of Law Enforcement database of 36,306 sex offenders and found: • 9,205 of them are incarcerated • 7,037 have run away or can't be found • 824 have been deported; and • 516 are dead. Of the 15,573 sex offenders listed as released and not on parole or probation, only 11,355 of those actually live in Florida. Sex offender registries can only be usefully, and only fully do what they where designed to do when they are updated, maintained and monitored continuously. When you are relying on the SO registries to monitors how safe your...
