Man Sentenced for Faking Sons Death

Kurt Paul Miller walked in and told the devastating news to his fellow employees of Wal-Mart, his son had been killed while serving in Iraq. In a show of support, his colleges raised $1,240 in donations on his behalf, and the company gave him three days of bereavement leave. Only, Miller's son had not died in Iraq.

Kurt Paul Miller, 50, of Butler, pleaded no contest to theft by deception. Mr. Miller was approved for participation in the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program for first-time offenders charged with nonviolent crimes. SOURCE

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. Mom Arrested After Baby Found Mauled By Dogs

This is a story that I really don't want to share, it angers me all the while breaking my heart at how someone could be so cold and callous. My only comment is that there is always a better way. Some may of thought of going to the hospital, others may have thought about calling someone- anyone for help. But the complete disregard this person showed is horrifing. PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Investigators said the badly-mauled body of a newborn infant was found Tuesday afternoon on the banks of the Ohio River. The next day, the baby's 21-year-old mother was arrested after admitting to a hidden pregnancy. The mother told investigators that the baby was still-born at home. She said she panicked and disposed of the baby boy a few miles from her home, NBC 4's Erin Tate reported. The investigation began after authorities received a 911 call from a frantic mother.
