Do I hear insanity?

Maybe she just wanted to be able have a budding friendship with Yates and Schlosser, whose time together in the mental hospital has been able to produce a glorious friendship founded on the common thread that they both cruelly murdered their own children. After all, who wouldn't want to be able to join in those late night "I murdered my kids and convinced everyone I was too sick to go to real jail" conversations.
Seriously, I couldn't make this up:
Andrea Yates, who drowned her five children in the bathtub, and Dena Schlosser, whose baby died after she severed the girl's arms with a kitchen knife, became roommates after they were sent to the hospital following being found not guilty by reason of insanity.

"We talk about our past, we talk about our memories, our fun memories, the things that our kids did," Schlosser told The Dallas Morning News in her first public comments. With the support of her family, Schlosser agreed to be interviewed several times over the phone.

I'm guessing that Lakeia Nicole White was envious of that sweet murderous friendship and decided she wanted to be able to join in it too. Only, her kids were still alive, so she killed them.
A mother told police she smothered her twin 9-month-old boys because they were crying in her bed and then she went back to sleep, authorities said Wednesday.

Okay, so it's not likely that my take so far is anywhere near the truth, but something does tell me that someone will be hitting up on the insanity defense- IF South Carolina has it. I can't recall if they do or not.

So, the babies are crying, you'll run into that with babies sometimes. I'd imagine that it's hard enough to ignore one crying child, let alone two. And clearly, White really really wanted to go back to bed.

You know, I just don't get it. I look at my kids and I just can't imagine how someone could just kill their own kids. I just don't get it. Or shot them with BB guns. I don't get that either. But, yeah... I read about some deviant doing that too.

Verifiable or provable by means of observation or experiment: empirical laws. Guided by practical experience and not theory, especially in medicine Kennedy hate crimes rider may doom Hatch's sex offender bill By Robert Gehrke The Salt Lake Tribune WASHINGTON - A fight over federal hate crimes legislation could torpedo Sen. Orrin Hatch's push to strengthen the nation's sex-offender registries and clamp down on sex crimes. The Senate Judiciary Committee gave quick, unanimous approval to Hatch's bill Thursday, clearing its way for consideration by the full Senate. But Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., said he plans to try to attach language to a bill that would require tougher sentences, provide federal assistance and offer grants to prosecute hate crimes - those motivated by hatred for a race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. The White ...

Boyfriends...

I sometimes wonder if certain men have some sort of animal DNA breed into them. The type of DNA or whatever it is that makes animals ritually preform certain actions. Like lions, when a male lion takes over a pride it'll often kill the offspring of the previous male, before mating with the female lions and creating cubs of it's own. I only wonder this, because it seems like there are an overwhelming number of men out there that end up killing the children of their girlfriends, not all of them do- but on a case by case comparison between girlfriends killing their boyfriends offspring and boyfriends doing it, it just seems that it's a lot more common amoung men. NOT THAT ALL OF THEM DO THIS... there are some great boyfriends/stepfathers out there that actually take care of kids as if they are their own... but then we have cases like Christopher Thunborg and Kashon Scott. Thunborg was babysitting his girlfriend's 11 month of baby in March when police say he caused ...
