And the answer is "NO"

You all know that I like to help people out, and that I like to post screen captures of my stat referrals. (Okay, so normally they are the bad ones... but hang in here with me for a moment)

Today's screen capture left me laughing. And made me realise that amid all of the bad in the world- there's still some good. Of course, maybe the child in question isn't seeing it that way... but every parent who has supplied their little angels with TV's, phones, computers, games, toys, and gadgets know what I am talking about, especially since so few of us had all of that in our rooms when we were growing up.

(read the line on referring link to see the search terms)

No, dear friend... it's not child abuse, but thanks making me smile.

oh, Lilo. that made me sad. I know that's a dumb thing to make me sad, and in a way, it's so cute... in an innocent sort of way. I laughed, too, because you're right. I did not have ANY of that growing up. Not in my room, and not allowed to use it anyway. Even if I weren't grounded. I was actually kept locked in my room from the outside for most of my childhood... (without even being allowed to use materials to draw or color, much less use the phone!) ...but I did have books and my bed. I had to ask permission to use the bathroom.
I guess it does kind of make me smile to see that even kids with "normal" lives (being treated "normally") have times they feel mistreated, too. What a cute kid!

*laughs* Amazing, and good for those parents! My first thought though, is that the kid has been 'deprived' of all electronics except the Internet? I imagine it's for schoolwork, eh? That lucky kid has no idea what abuse is.
Thanks for sharing.

He loves me, he loves me not, oh what the heck he loves me...

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. And Lindsay, he is demented. And he should be locked up forever. And, well it seems that he is a fan of mine. Yep, that sick lil monkey can't help himself. He reads this here blog (which is a hint that you should share your thoughts...

Linsi E. Light

When it came on the news last night, there was very little information. Even today, although there is more coming out- there still is a rather chilling "quietness" in the details of the case. You must understand, my home town is rather small. Murders front page news. So when the second murder of the year was shuffled into the mid section of the paper this morning, without so much as a name for the victim, it seemed- well it seemed odd. It wasn't until this evening that one (out of two) local TV news stations picked it up enough for it to hit their website. What I have been able to compile so far, is that at some time last night, Lima Police received a call about a gun being shot. They arrived at 1212 Bellefontaine Ave, on the east side of Lima to find a 19 year old OSU student dead. The young woman would be identified as Linsi E. Light, a first year OSU Lima student from Montpelier Ohio , a small Ohio town with just over 4,000 residents. She apparently had been shot in th...
