Two Year Old Fatally Stabbed

Tiara Jefferson left her two children, ages 2 and 2 months in the care of Detress Richmond while she went to work in hopes of making a little extra Christmas money. Richmon left the two young children and nearly a dozen other children with a 15 year old sitter while she left her home.

Reports
suggest that while the teenage babysitter was in another part of the home, a nine year old boy- the son of Richmond, stabbed Jefferson's two year old- Damya Jefferson.

Siblings of the nine year old referred to him as a bully, and that he often pushed them around.

As for Richmond, he has 13 children and has a history of being investigated by Texas Department of Child Protective Services, who have been to her house eight times since 1994 to investigate allegations that her children were neglected, not fed or living in filth. State officials are not offering any reason as to why the children were never removed from the home.

As for the nine year old- because of his age, he can not be charged with a crime, and therefore has been sent to a state hospital while the case is investigated.

Richmond's remaining children have been removed from the home, and CPS workers also took "Damya's 2-month-old sibling, because caseworkers questioned Jefferson's judgment when she left her children at a home that police said was dirty and potentially unsupervised". Personally, I find that odd. They had 8 chances to remove children from this home- and by their failing to act they were pretty much providing a seal of approval, and yet they expect that a 17 year old should make better choices than state trained and employed CPS agents did. After all, if they found no reason to remove children, that there was no "level of imminent danger", then how can someone else be blamed for failing to see the same things they missed?

I am not one to judge these departments for children and family but how much evidence do they need in order to take action?? Although, as a mother, you are ultimately repsonible for your children. If you don't feel safe leaving your child somewhere without you then don't. Maybe she didn't have an option. Sad all the way around.

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. And Lindsay, he is demented. And he should be locked up forever. And, well it seems that he is a fan of mine. Yep, that sick lil monkey can't help himself.
