Just a few items of interest I thought I would share with you all.

First up, this weeks edition of the True Crime Blogs Carnival is currently being held over at Bonnie's Blog of Crime, so make sure you stop over and check out what the best crime bloggers on the internet have been typing out lately.

Second, I'm pleased to share with you an interview of Crime Blogging legend Steve Huff over at the TrueCrimeBlogroll blog.

Also, our most beloved multi-crimeblog writing Trench has delighted us all with yet another blog- Public Enemy: Player 1. And here's a little about it, direct from Trench:
I’m Trench Reynolds. You may know me from such blogs as TheTrenchcoat Chronicles, News of Doom, and MyCrimeSpace. I’m here today to present my latest project, Public Enemy: Player 1. Myself, and hopefully some others, will be bringing you news and opinion of crime and how it relates to videogames.

Now don’t misunderstand the object of the site. I am not one of those people that think videogames are responsible for crime. As a matter of fact I’ve been a gamer since the late 70’s when my dad bought me the Sears VCS. That’s the Atari 2600 to you. So if you’re a gamer I’m on your side.

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). When it came on the news last night, there was very little information. Even today, although there is more coming out- there still is a rather chilling "quietness" in the details of the case. You must understand, my home town is rather small. Murders front page news. So when the second murder of the year was shuffled into the mid section of the paper this morning, without so much as a name for the victim, it seemed- well it seemed odd. It wasn't until this evening that one (out of two) local TV news stations picked it up enough for it to hit their website. What I have been able to compile so far, is that at some time last night, Lima Police received a call about a gun being shot. They arrived at 1212 Bellefontaine Ave, on the east side of Lima to find a 19 year old OSU student dead. The young woman would be identified as Linsi E. Light, a first year OSU Lima student from Montpelier Ohio , a small Ohio town with just over 4,000 residents. She apparently had been shot in th...
