A sad note...

Today marked an important day in the case of Jessica Lunsford's killer- John Evander Couey. Couey was in court asking that statements he made during an investigation into another child murder be thrown out.

A judge ruled Monday that statements allegedly made to detectives by the man accused of kidnapping, raping and killing 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford will not be allowed at his trial.

Circuit Judge Ric Howard said Orlando police detectives should not have been allowed to question John Evander Couey about a 1985 murder case because he had already told Citrus County authorities he wanted a lawyer.

A taped confession to Jessica’s slaying was thrown out in June for the same reason.

Her angelfire site "Nancy Dyer's Story" now has the text deleted. Instead there is only a counter and four banner ads.
I sure hope she's not making any commission off those ads from the frequent hits her page has received (there was only one ad before, I believe).
I suppose she deleted her ramblings once she decided to keep the kids since she stated numerous times in her hastily-constructed webpage monologue how she was giving up her children for their own good. She could have also finally gotten advice from her public defender to keep her trap shut.
I sure hope someone saved it during the short time it was up.

I actually had sympathy for her in the beginning. But the more she talks the more layers fall away revealing nothing of real substance. The only thing left is the pitiful remains of a life fraught with poor decisions and selfish agendas.

This is one of the sickest bastards I have ever imagined could possibly exist. My mission is reaffirmed.

He loves me, he loves me not, oh what the heck he loves me...

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. And Lindsay, he is demented. And he should be locked up forever. And, well it seems that he is a fan of mine. Yep, that sick lil monkey can't help himself. He reads this here blog (which is a hint that you should share your thoughts...

Florida Sex Offender Registry

Reading the news today, I was taken back to see that the Florida Sex Offender registry was being criticized. Having had the chance to look at it previously, I had always found it rather informative, and well organized. The issue that many are having with it now wouldn't be noticed by the occasional browser on the site. Which makes it even worse. A review of the FSR has found some rather unsettling statistics: The News-Press analyzed the Florida Department of Law Enforcement database of 36,306 sex offenders and found: • 9,205 of them are incarcerated • 7,037 have run away or can't be found • 824 have been deported; and • 516 are dead. Of the 15,573 sex offenders listed as released and not on parole or probation, only 11,355 of those actually live in Florida. Sex offender registries can only be usefully, and only fully do what they where designed to do when they are updated, maintained and monitored continuously. When you are relying on the SO registries to monitors how safe your...

This land is my land, this land is not your land...

I was reading the illegal immigrant news this morning... you know, all about the Spanish National anthem... and all about their big rally May 2... and I started thinking. Perhaps, just perhaps we need to stand up. It may be a really good time to remind everyone who's country this is. 12 million illegals... heh, I think we can beat that. The rough estimate is that the US has a population of 298,000,000, or close too it. Take away the estimated 12 million illegals, and we still have 286,000,000 give or take some. So, basically, if one were to be honest- a boycott by legal citizens would be more impressive. 12 million illegals, who can not legally vote verses 286 million citizens who can minus children and some criminals. My country. Not theirs. My taxes, my jobs, my political leaders. 286 million people should be able to remind law makers just who put them in office. 286 million people should be able to remind companies who buys their products. 286 million people should be able to si...
