Mike Sites has been talking about children, even going to their schools and this time- it's a good sort of thing.
"A sexual predator doesn't need a crowbar or an open window to get into your child's bedroom."
With that chilling visual, Michigan State Police trooper Mike Sites instantly quieted the chatter in the Bridgman High School Performing Arts Center, where some 50 parents gathered recently to hear his program on Internet Safety for Parents.
Sites, a community service officer stationed at the state police Bridgman Post on Red Arrow Highway, walked the parents through an array of dangers that their children face daily in any typical online excursion, from harassment to bullying to predatory "grooming" to actual physical molestation.
