Tid Bits...

Or just willing to write about them? There are a few requirements, but rumor has it that a cushy blogging gig, complete with possible hate mail and trolls, has opened up over at CrimeNews.

Other notes of interest:

Georgia police are looking for a serial rapist, who has been known to attack women while they are with their children. In one case, he held a gun to the woman, forcing her and her small child into a car before driving off to a park where he raped her, and then threatened the child.

For those of you who recall Kelsey Briggs, you might be feeling that anger all over again- yet another soldier has had to return home to bury their child due to abuse.

A man beat his girlfriend's 4-year-old son to death after she left the boy in his care while she was deployed to Iraq, police said.

Donell Parker, 23, was charged Friday with first-degree murder in the death of Cameron Smith. The boy was found dead in his bed Thursday in a suburb south of Chicago.

Jury finds that sleepwalking is a bad excuse for molesting someone.

A Georgia man has been found guilty of sexual battery even though he claims he has no recollection of assaulting the family babysitter because he was sleepwalking.

The babysitter said she caught Scott Axelburg with his hand in her underwear in the middle of the night in 2004.

Reward for Jennifer Kesse, missing for over a year from Orlando has grown to $1million dollars. New footage of "suspect" released, and police are hoping for leads.

What happened to Jennifer Kesse, the blonde financial adviser from Orlando, Fla., who disappeared 16 months ago? Nobody knows, but a week ago, the Orlando police announced that they may finally have a break in the case. To motivate anyone with information about the case to help investigators, Kesse's boss offered a $1 million reward for information that leads to Kesse's safe return by July 4.

And, lastly- pedofreak Ashford has decided to have a little fun when it comes to the sexual abuse of children. He calls it a parody- but most people know that this sick fuck is "just fine" with the idea of sexually abusing little children for his own deviant gratification. The page he slams is Virginia's Anti Statutory Rape site.

He loves me, he loves me not, oh what the heck he loves me...

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. And Lindsay, he is demented. And he should be locked up forever. And, well it seems that he is a fan of mine. Yep, that sick lil monkey can't help himself. He reads this here blog (which is a hint that you should share your thoughts...

Florida Sex Offender Registry

Reading the news today, I was taken back to see that the Florida Sex Offender registry was being criticized. Having had the chance to look at it previously, I had always found it rather informative, and well organized. The issue that many are having with it now wouldn't be noticed by the occasional browser on the site. Which makes it even worse. A review of the FSR has found some rather unsettling statistics: The News-Press analyzed the Florida Department of Law Enforcement database of 36,306 sex offenders and found: • 9,205 of them are incarcerated • 7,037 have run away or can't be found • 824 have been deported; and • 516 are dead. Of the 15,573 sex offenders listed as released and not on parole or probation, only 11,355 of those actually live in Florida. Sex offender registries can only be usefully, and only fully do what they where designed to do when they are updated, maintained and monitored continuously. When you are relying on the SO registries to monitors how safe your...

Mom Arrested After Baby Found Mauled By Dogs

This is a story that I really don't want to share, it angers me all the while breaking my heart at how someone could be so cold and callous. My only comment is that there is always a better way. Some may of thought of going to the hospital, others may have thought about calling someone- anyone for help. But the complete disregard this person showed is horrifing. PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Investigators said the badly-mauled body of a newborn infant was found Tuesday afternoon on the banks of the Ohio River. The next day, the baby's 21-year-old mother was arrested after admitting to a hidden pregnancy. The mother told investigators that the baby was still-born at home. She said she panicked and disposed of the baby boy a few miles from her home, NBC 4's Erin Tate reported. The investigation began after authorities received a 911 call from a frantic mother. Dispatcher: "911, what's your emergency?" Caller: "My kids were just outside, telling me that the dog was ch...
