David E. Meyer

David E. Meyer is just 25, but he holds a sizable list of criminal offenses in his past- including a 2003 conviction for molesting a child, and more recent charges of battery by bodily waste, a felony, as well as misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest. What won't be on his record if his plea deal with Fort Wayne prosecutors goes through are the acts that actually put him into the position of resisting arrest to begin with:

Prosecutors dropped two counts of criminal deviate conduct, a count of attempted rape, a felony count of battery, a count of criminal confinement and a count of being a repeat sexual offender.
[...]
Police arrested Meyer because a woman claimed he hit her at an undisclosed home and told her “Your boyfriend gave me permission to do what I want,” according to court records. The woman told police Meyer then sexually assaulted her, threatened to kill her, beat her, tried to rape her and held her captive for nearly an hour and a half, according to court documents.

Rather than spending the next 81 years in jail- a possibility his faced with had the more severe charges not been dropped, Meyer is looking at a quick, almost painless "up to five years" behind bars.

It's not that I don't believe that resisting arrest is a worthwhile charge, or that spitting at an officer is a silly thing to get charged with- it's that I was under the impression that we drop less serious charges, while making the perp responsible for the more serious actions. Even pleading them down is better than just tossing them out all together.

I don't know what's wrong with these people over there, but we can at least hope that the judge has the senses to laugh these idiots out of his courtroom, while insisting that any "deal" made actually includes punishing Meyer.

A judge will decide whether to accept the plea deal Sept. 24, when Meyer is scheduled to be sentenced on the charges of battery, battery by bodily waste and resisting arrest. In 2003, Meyer, who is registered as a sexually violent predator, was convicted of child molesting.

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. And Lindsay, he is demented. And he should be locked up forever. And, well it seems that he is a fan of mine. Yep, that sick lil monkey can't help himself. He reads this here blog (which is a hint that you should share your thoughts...
