Do you know this child?

***UPDATES BELOW***

Las Vegas police are searching for information on the identities of the little girl pervert pictured. The story behind how these two became of interest to police is a little far fetched if you ask me, but rather than debating the likelihood of it, or questioning why the hell he waited so freaking long before turning to police- I'm going to just quote the story... for now.

After receiving a graphic tape of a young girl being assaulted by an adult male, Nye County police need help identifying both the victim and the man.
[...]
Investigators said the tape was turned in by Darren Tuck, 26, of Pahrump. Tuck said he found the tape in the desert. After another investigation, police said Tuck had possession of the tape for over five months, showing it to other people.

***UPDATE***
The first update comes straight from America's Most Wanted, who has been working on this case from early on:

Chester Stiles: Cops tell AMW that they are now hot on the trail of the man at the center of an investigation into a horrific videotaped sexual assault involving an underage girl. Police have now named Chester Arthur Stiles as the man they believe is seen on the tape performing sexual acts on a 4- to 5-year-old girl who has now been identified only as 'Madison'.

And the second update comes from a reader, who sent the link to me Thanks!
The girl is called "Madison" on the tape, and it is "possible" that the man shown in it is Stiles, DeMeo said.
Stiles, whose last known address was Las Vegas, also was wanted on unrelated state and federal warrants on charges of sexual assault and lewdness with a minor under 14 years of age, the sheriff said.

"We know he has those warrants," DeMeo told The Associated Press by telephone from Pahrump, a rural town 60 miles from Las Vegas. "For us, he is a person of interest. We want to talk with Mr. Stiles about the identity of the female victim."

Florida Sex Offender Registry

Reading the news today, I was taken back to see that the Florida Sex Offender registry was being criticized. Having had the chance to look at it previously, I had always found it rather informative, and well organized. The issue that many are having with it now wouldn't be noticed by the occasional browser on the site. Which makes it even worse. A review of the FSR has found some rather unsettling statistics: The News-Press analyzed the Florida Department of Law Enforcement database of 36,306 sex offenders and found: • 9,205 of them are incarcerated • 7,037 have run away or can't be found • 824 have been deported; and • 516 are dead. Of the 15,573 sex offenders listed as released and not on parole or probation, only 11,355 of those actually live in Florida. Sex offender registries can only be usefully, and only fully do what they where designed to do when they are updated, maintained and monitored continuously. When you are relying on the SO registries to monitors how safe your...

This land is my land, this land is not your land...

I was reading the illegal immigrant news this morning... you know, all about the Spanish National anthem... and all about their big rally May 2... and I started thinking. Perhaps, just perhaps we need to stand up. It may be a really good time to remind everyone who's country this is. 12 million illegals... heh, I think we can beat that. The rough estimate is that the US has a population of 298,000,000, or close too it. Take away the estimated 12 million illegals, and we still have 286,000,000 give or take some. So, basically, if one were to be honest- a boycott by legal citizens would be more impressive. 12 million illegals, who can not legally vote verses 286 million citizens who can minus children and some criminals. My country. Not theirs. My taxes, my jobs, my political leaders. 286 million people should be able to remind law makers just who put them in office. 286 million people should be able to remind companies who buys their products. 286 million people should be able to si...

America's Most Wanted, Press Release

HIGH TECH vs CHILD PORN FOX-TV’s “ America’s Most Wanted ” Highlights Florida’s First-in-the-Nation Statewide CyberCrime Sweep Using Groundbreaking Technology to Fight Online Predators The Internet may have revolutionized communications, but it’s also provided a dark cover for some of the most twisted predators: perverts who make and distribute child pornography. State- of-the-art technology is now revolutionizing the way law enforcement fights back. This week on AMERICA’S MOST WANTED (Saturday, June 13 th 9:00 PM ET/PT on FOX), host John Walsh will show viewers how authorities in Florida are using sophisticated technology – and how it’s yielded big results. Governor Charlie Crist created Florida’s CyberCrime Unit in 2005, while serving as the state’s Attorney General, with a mission to protect children from computer-facilitated sexual exploitation. Under Florida’s current Attorney General, Bill McCollum, the CyberCrime Unit has expanded to include a staff of more than ...
