Interesting read

The incredible and ever interesting blogger Ala at blonde sagacity has a must read post up detailing her recent purchase of a book. But, it's not just any book- it was written by Michael Smerconish and Maureen Faulkner- Faulkner is the widow of Officer Daniel Faulkner who was murdered in cold blood by Mumia Abu-Jamal. The case, which has lasted 25 years because of 'appeals' and faked 'new' evidence helps highlight the serious problems with not only the justice system but 'celebrities' who would rather support a cop killer with their money than have any morals or compassion.

He loves me, he loves me not, oh what the heck he loves me...

It seems to resemble a bit of a 3rd grade crush. Mag said first grade ... but it's really less annoying that having my ponytail pulled. He loves me... after all, he keeps linking to me . He loves me not... evidently that's why he uses my comments out of context and twists my words... he loves me, because clearly he likes to "poke the bear" (That 70's Show quote). Yes, I just referred to myself as a bear. A lot less hairy, but no less scary. Because anyone that thinks you should be locked up for the rest of your life is indeed scary. Especially when she likes to go around telling everyone how demented you are... and how she'd like to see you locked up forever. And even more scary when you know that it's the truth she speaks. When it came on the news last night, there was very little information. Even today, although there is more coming out- there still is a rather chilling "quietness" in the details of the case. You must understand, my home town is rather small. Murders front page news. So when the second murder of the year was shuffled into the mid section of the paper this morning, without so much as a name for the victim, it seemed- well it seemed odd. It wasn't until this evening that one (out of two) local TV news stations picked it up enough for it to hit their website. What I have been able to compile so far, is that at some time last night, Lima Police received a call about a gun being shot. They arrived at 1212 Bellefontaine Ave, on the east side of Lima to find a 19 year old OSU student dead. The young woman would be identified as Linsi E.
