Places to take your kids

Since summer is coming, and we all know that means that thousands of little ones will be stuck in the care of their idiot parents, I figured it was a good time to remind folks of places they shouldn't take their kids. Sadly, for Chuck Parker and Simone Stevens this post is a little to late to help them, but maybe they have some relatives out there, or friend or perfect strangers that have never even heard of them who just might stumble on the post and take two seconds to read this. Then, perhaps those new idiots will learn not to take their kids to certain places. I'd cross my fingers and say that perhaps these losers will decide not to go to these places themselves- but I really feel that would be pushing it pretty far, after all these are low life idiots we're talking about.

Place number one to not take your child to:

Your road trip to the local drug dealers house.

I shouldn't have to tell anyone the dangers of taking your kids on a drug run... but here it goes:

Police said a mother and father were arrested during a crack bust, and had their children with them in the car at the time of the bust. The two were among a handful of people arrested during an undercover drug bust over the weekend. In addition to drug charges, Chuck Parker and Simone Stevens face chares of endangering the welfare of a child.Police said the children, ages 5-years- and 3-months-old, were in the car when their parents conducted the alleged drug deal around 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
IQ tests for those who want to be parents?? Please? Cause I'm really starting to think it's about time we put a stop to the stupidity of folks who just breed for the fun of it, while having no intention of ever attempting to be anything that resembles a real parent.

Verifiable or provable by means of observation or experiment: empirical laws. Guided by practical experience and not theory, especially in medicine Kennedy hate crimes rider may doom Hatch's sex offender bill By Robert Gehrke The Salt Lake Tribune WASHINGTON - A fight over federal hate crimes legislation could torpedo Sen. Orrin Hatch's push to strengthen the nation's sex-offender registries and clamp down on sex crimes. The Senate Judiciary Committee gave quick, unanimous approval to Hatch's bill Thursday, clearing its way for consideration by the full Senate. But Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., said he plans to try to attach language to a bill that would require tougher sentences, provide federal assistance and offer grants to prosecute hate crimes - those motivated by hatred for a race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. The White ...

Florida Sex Offender Registry

Reading the news today, I was taken back to see that the Florida Sex Offender registry was being criticized. Having had the chance to look at it previously, I had always found it rather informative, and well organized. The issue that many are having with it now wouldn't be noticed by the occasional browser on the site. Which makes it even worse. A review of the FSR has found some rather unsettling statistics: The News-Press analyzed the Florida Department of Law Enforcement database of 36,306 sex offenders and found: • 9,205 of them are incarcerated • 7,037 have run away or can't be found • 824 have been deported; and • 516 are dead. Of the 15,573 sex offenders listed as released and not on parole or probation, only 11,355 of those actually live in Florida. Sex offender registries can only be usefully, and only fully do what they where designed to do when they are updated, maintained and monitored continuously. When you are relying on the SO registries to monitors how safe your...
