Area Man Drowns Son

Some things just make you wonder. Other things tend to make you want to reach out and seriously injure someone. The latter was my reaction to the Fort Jennings man who drowned his OWN child. Michael Luebrecht. I sat growing madder and madder as I watched the story unfold on the local news. Heres a 13 month old child, another innocent victim of it's parent(s) as the too familiar story goes. When did we forget that parents are suppose to protect, love, shield, and comfort their kids? How does one take any child- let alone a child who they have helped bring into this world, and decide to end their life? A whole country divided and cried over a case where an adult woman's parents fought to keep her alive- thousands mourned her passing, and her parents lingered even for a small chance of hope to keep her in this world. It brings to mind the fight parents should have for their kids- the desire to always have hope. This drowning reminds of the other side to some people in this world.

About

I have no idea what anyone would want to know about me for. But everyone seems to have a nice "about me" page, so I might as well have one too. I welcome all comments, and rarely discard any, although I have been know to trash spam and anything offense. If I am able to keep my thoughts calm, so can you. So, watch the words in your comments. For those who skipped over here without taking a moment to read anything and surfed in on the search terms "nude children" or any other disgusting terms, I will screen capture your info from my site meter, post it on here for everyone to see and forward a copy to the FBI, and your ISP. Just like I did this one this one and this one . Call it just my way of saying thanks. Most of my posts will focus on crimes, sexual offenders, child abuse and the like. I believe that we must stand up and take action, or else sit down and shut up. This is my method of standing up. If you spend your life turning away from the stories that you dee

Lima Ohio, Allen County Registered Sex Offenders

Lima Ohio, Allen County Registered Sex Offenders **Updated list of registered Sex Offenders can be found here . Follows is the sex offender list I have searched for the Lima/ Allen County area. Remember that not every sex offender will be listed, some committed crimes before the law went into effect, and some have yet to be caught. If you doubt this, Lima municipal Court will have a case file against Kenneth R Emig, a pedophile convicted before the law therefore spared the orded to register. He likes to play Santa at schools. Just ask the Lima News, who wrote the story of it. Or Shelley Hutson- the teacher who knowing what is he (family relation) brought him in to have a school full of small kids sit on his lap. You may also ask the school board for her permenant record to see the case. She is still working at Lima City Schools as a teacher. Makes you fill safe huh? Anyways, after the clipping I read in the paper and posted yesterday, I thought I would put up this list. You make hi

The saddest thing I have read this week

LimaOhio.com : "LIMA - In about a three-week time span, three 2-year-old girls tested positive for the sexu-ally transmitted disease gonorrhea. The girls live in a seven-block area, but that's the only link between the toddlers that epide-mological tests found, Allen County Health Department Nursing Director Becky Dershem said. The numbers were released Friday at the Allen County Health District's monthly meeting, and health officials and law enforcement investigators are doing what they can to find the person or people responsible. The exact area where the girls live was not released" Read whole story ***********I am hoping when they catch the pervert that is responsible for these acts, he is raped and beaten to death in prison.

Word of the Day - Yahoo! Education

Word of the Day - Yahoo! Education : "hackneyed DEFINITION:(adjective) without originality, trite EXAMPLE:When someone invented the phrase, 'No pain, no gain,' it was clever, but now it is so commonly heard that it seems hackneyed. SYNONYMS:banal, common, trite"

Military Closings

I am not sure as to how one could justify closing or reducing Military Bases while our Country is at war, not just any war- but one with which there seems to be so very much at stake. Not just Iraq, but at this time America seems to be at war with people from all nations, we have built up a magnet for the worlds hatred to be pointed at. Until the finial terrorist slips away into the harsh unknown darkness of death, until every single person both here and on foreign ground can reside to put away the dispute over America and what type of Nation we have become; until there is a understanding of peace throughout the world- we are a nation at war. At war not just with other countries but with those people that would stand up and take action, those that would praise the fall of Lady Liberty, those who desire to bring America down into the pits of poverty stricken, freedom-less, ungoverned, hopelessly torn realms they would create. America has seen the anger which- deserving or not- has been

Sheriff Beck

While at Walmart today buying a "tie it to two trees and lay in it" hammock, and a very cute Solar Captain with a little lantern that lights up for Tim; I ran into Sheriff Dan Beck. Say what you will, but I like him. I like the fact that he has the balls to come out and say what problems Lima has, that he focuses on housing, employment and the crime. That he expects people to acknowledge the problems and find ways to improve the area. Anyway, we started up a conversation- I must say it was the first I have ever had. And to my enjoyment I like him even more in person. The city officials may be right, he's county and should deal with the county, but when you realize that Lima IS in the county, you understand that his position is what allows him to bring to light the problems. Lima should be cleaning up the drug houses, they should be creating a community that attracts business. They should be paying attention to the fact that in the past 20 years Lima has begun to sink int

The Man at Andersons

When going to Anderson's today for the screening stuff (see "Screening" post) i noticed a man walking over as me and Casey where walking to the car. He informed us that it was National Prayer Day, and gave both of us a small "bible". First I must say that I have begun to be suspicious of any one approaching the kids or me or me and the kids that I do not know. Being the overprotective parent that I am, and reading too many headlines of "Woman Missing" "Child Gone" I seem to always be looking around for anyone that may be looking to closely at someone or approaching. You just never seem to know what can happen these days. Despite the uncomfortable feeling of this man walking towards I, I tried to remain polite while putting my things in the car and keeping Casey close to my side as we walked around to get in. The man gave us the bibles, "God bless"ed us and began to walk away. As me and little bit headed around the van to get in, the

The Mayor Vote

Well Well Well, The campaign is now down to two men. Not a bit surprized by the outcome. What where the chances of Berger losing by a margin large enough to kick him out of the race? Hopefully the November race brings more sensible people to the poles. Anyhow Here's the count direct from the Lima News... limited to Bushlong and Berger. Berger took 56 percent of the vote, or 2,022 votes, with 33 percent, or 1,203 votes, going to Bushong. And to think that Lima has a population of somewhere in the 40,000 margin. Hum. Slackers? Lazy? Not interested? Just given up? Whats the reason behind this? Makes one think doesn't it. For full election results see the Lima News .
