48 HOURS MYSTERY: "Blood and Money on Horseshoe Bay,"

A MILLIONAIRE’S OUTRAGEOUS SEX LIFE MAY HAVE LED TO HIS GRUESOME MURDER – ON “48 HOURS MYSTERY,” SATURDAY, MAY 30 Charlie White was a larger-than-life Texas millionaire. Ambitious, bold and brash, he lived a lavish lifestyle that included a private jet, luxury vacations, parties and beautiful women. But it all came to a gruesome end in 2005 when police were called to his lakeside mansion. The eccentric millionaire had been murdered, mercilessly beaten, with an extension cord wrapped around his neck several times. By first impression, White was a very likeable person, but as police began investigating his murder, a darker image of White began to emerge, one of a cruel man with a dangerous mean streak sharpened by arrogance, alcohol and women. With an unbridled passion for the fairer sex, White bedded and rated the sexual prowess of over a thousand women, including strippers and prostitutes. And White didn’t stop there, satisfying his sexual appetite with the girlfriends of his

Melecio Camacho would like a public defender

Melecio Camacho, the Mexican national who was living in South Sioux City for perhaps months, who has family still back in Mexico and who was recently arrested, would like a public defender. Not for just another petty crime, but for the vicious rape and murder of a 3 year old girl. "It was an extremely vicious and brutal crime,"said South Sioux City Police chief Scot Ford. He said evidence shows that in the middle of the night, Camacho brutality raped and murdered a 3-year old girl while her parents slept. "The daughter was a victim of an extreme sexual assault," he said. Apparently Camacho knew the family. The attack took place in the home where the little girl lived with her parents, her brother and a months-old sister. Her mother discovered the crime when she woke up to take care of the baby. Ford said the suspect apparently entered the home through a window that didn't work properly, and did not wake the family inside the house. Police say, Camacho fled the h

Kenneth Eugene Jackson

Kenneth Eugene Jackson starting abusing his two stepdaughters when they were 9 and 7. The abuse went as far as even getting the older child pregnant. Jackson had a previous conviction for sexual abuse prior to his encounters with the young girls. Thankfully, this time the judge seems to have gotten it right when sentencing this sexual predator: Dressed in a mustard-colored jailhouse uniform, Jackson avoided eye contact with family members of the victims, who were in court for Wednesday's sentencing hearing. During the emotional hearing, the victims' aunt pleaded with Judge Carol Ash to "throw the book" at Jackson, saying both girls have been through an unimaginably traumatic ordeal. The aunt said the older girl required a C-section operation to deliver her baby -- and couldn't walk across the stage for her eighth-grade graduation because she was in the hospital. "She has that scar for the rest of her life," she said. "Mentally and physically, (the v

Ever notice...

I always tend to find it annoying, no wait, infuriating when people decide after the fact that perhaps they need help. Too many times, these willful pleas for "help" are nothing more than a begging for leniency. Such is likely the case of Robert Charles Heydorn, who is currently facing six counts of molestation of a child and one count of sexual abuse. Heydorn waiting until after molesting a 9 year old girl, and after finding out that he was being investigated for it to head down to police and inform them he had a problem... Heydorn was first interviewed by police in 2008 and denied any wrongdoing. He learned he was being investigated again recently and reportedly went to Surprise police officers and said he needed to get some help for “hurting the girls.” He also said he would continue to molest girls if he did not get any help. First he denies any wrong doing, and then he decides to come clean and ask for help? Nice how that works out for him, he just victimizes a ch

48 HOURS MYSTERY: “Daddy’s Girl”

DID A BROTHER AND SISTER CONSPIRE TO MURDER THEIR STEPFATHER? IN A CASE OF HE SAID SHE SAID, IT IS UP TO TWO JURIES IN ONE COURTROOM TO DECIDE IN AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW THE SIBLINGS DISCUSS WHAT HAPPENED ON “48 HOURS MYSTERY,” SATURDAY, MAY 16 On Thursday July 19th, 2007, the day after his 63rd birthday, Timothy MacNeil, a prominent defense attorney, was shot to death in his San Diego, Calif. home. The only witness was his 17-year-old stepdaughter, Brae Hansen, who was found tied up nearby. She told police a masked gunman had broken in and committed the murder, but left her alive. Thinking Brae to be the victim of the crime, authorities looked to Brae as their best witness to help solve the case. But as she recounted the details of the murder to authorities and to her family, puzzling inconsistencies began to emerge, including the fact that she described the masked gunman by name – Nathan. Brae soon went from being a victim to being a suspect. When q

Timothy Burke

After failing to convince the court that the blame for his acts of molestation against two children laid with the allegation that he had been molested as a child himself, Timothy Burke was sentenced to 30 years to Life in prison. It is very difficult for me to explain what happened,” the 37-year-old Shelby man told the court. “The potential was created the first time I was molested. “I have no better explanation for my sudden rash of behaviors. I behaved as that child, exploring the forbidden and unknown.” Burke was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison for 16 sex-related counts involving children. Burke molested a boy and a girl, both younger than 10, and videotaped a naked preteen girl between Sept. 4 and Dec. 3. Last month, Burke rejected a plea bargain in which he would cop to five counts in exchange for a recommended sentence of 30 years to life. He instead pleaded guilty to all counts and took a chance he would get a lesser sentence. He could have received a minimum of 15 to li
